Synclab is a second-generation extended ERP software: thus, it allows interconnecting not only the internal functional components of a health care company, but also interconnecting with the outside world, such as with suppliers and patients, who by connecting from the outside will be able to independently perform certain activities such as: order verification, invoice entry, reservations, payment of services, referral pickup, etc.

At the architectural level, the Synclinic healthcare management system is developed with “Open System” type information technologies that insist on a common application platform consisting of a single database and a set of software components capable of providing all the services required for the functional and informational integration of applications within the information system.
The architecture of the Synclinic system adheres to the ISO-EN 12967 standard and UNI standards on the integration of healthcare software systems. The responsive WEB-based architecture also ensures compatibility with major browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari) and use of the application on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones.
The user interface has been specially developed to adapt to different operational contexts making all system features, from purely administrative to those with more clinical health content, more usable and easy to use.
The healthcare management system has been designed and proposed with a graphic design specially built for “touch” use, without a mouse or keyboard, attractive and inviting graphically and easily manageable from different devices (PC, Notebook, Tablet and Smartphone).

As a health information system, SynClinic ensures information integration and interoperability with other departmental systems through the use of global and national communication and interchange standards and protocols.

Dicom: The Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard is used to ensure the interoperability of systems that produce, store, send, process, retrieve or print medical images, and to manage workflow data.
HL7® FHIR: Sync Lab and a growing number of organizations are adopting the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), originally created by HL7. When fully defined, FHIR will be complementary to other standards, such as those of IHE, which are essential for interoperability and the exchange of complete health records. In the short term, FHIR is likely to cover an important role in the health information exchange of mobile applications.
At the application level and depending on the type of documentation produced, corrections and/or changes can be made, but every change made is historicized and recorded on the system.
