Comprehensive Management of the Surgical Pathway
Entry into the Operating Room

The initial phase is managed by ward staff, who verify the pre-operative documentation and proceed with the patient transfer, while the system updates the patient's status in real time.
Stay and Procedure

During the procedure, each operator (surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurse) can complete and sign their sections of the surgical record, keeping track of the materials used and following the workflow outlined by the system.
Awakening and Discharge Procedure

After the intervention, the operative report and, if necessary, the histological report are finalized and integrated into the Electronic Medical Record, allowing the patient to be discharged from the Operating Room and enabling the return to the ward.
Key features
The system offers a complete and integrated framework that ensures a high level of precision and compliance in the operating environment.
that can be customized to ensure maximum safety and compliance during all phases of the intervention
SynClinic allows real-time monitoring of patient entry, intervention, and exit times from the Operating Room, enabling staff to follow a detailed surgical pathway.
During the procedure, the materials used are managed and tracked via barcode or UDI-DI scanning, with complete recording of each item and visibility of the associated costs. It is possible to configure consumption kits for each type of procedure, simplifying supply management and material allocation.
The operative report, as well as the histological report (if necessary), are integrated into the patient's medical record, documenting the entire surgical procedure in a complete and compliant manner.
To ensure compliance and safety, SynClinic allows the compilation of a customizable checklist that covers all critical stages of the intervention, reducing the risk of complications and respecting ministerial standards.
The system calculates the time required for cleaning and preparing the operating rooms between procedures, and tracks the downtime — that is, the difference between operating times and staff shifts — thus facilitating more efficient scheduling.
The system supports pre-filled and configurable reports for each surgical specialty, improving the efficiency of documentation.
The interventions are codable according to the ICD-9-CM standard, with advanced search tools that allow a precise selection of procedures.
Nursing documentation is integrated and customizable, with the possibility of adding the anesthesia record in the pre-, intra- and post-operative phases.
SynClinic allows the generation of customizable statistics to analyze surgical performance, procedure durations, and other key parameters.
The consent forms for the intervention and anesthesia are visible and manageable from the pre-admission phase, ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.
Operating Room Scheduling and Monitoring
Through the back office, the Operating Room module allows detailed configuration of room availability, assigning them to specific medical teams.
The “Operating Room Reservations” feature provides a comprehensive view of the rooms, with occupancy status organized by day, week, or month.
Although the system does not support automatic assignment of medical teams, admission requests can be configured using predefined procedure templates that collect relevant data such as the estimated procedure duration, team members’ names, and expected materials. The system automatically calculates the operating room occupancy time slot based on the estimated procedure duration, thereby optimizing resource management. The “Procedure Management” menu also allows scheduling the procedure in just a few clicks by selecting the patient and the room.
Support and Optimization Features
- Material Kits and Variation Management
- Material Tracking
- Access with Bracelet and Barcode
- Time Reporting

Each type of intervention can have a configured materials kit, with the possibility of modifying its composition during the operation. Items can be automatically downloaded from the warehouse, associating the necessary lots.

SynClinic allows you to record the use of special equipment, facilitating the calculation of fees for specific interventions and improving traceability.

The module includes secure access via the patient's wristband and barcode reader to ensure accurate management of activities.

The reports allow you to monitor room times, and room restoration. In addition, the system provides tools for tracking labels, samples sent, and the return of pathology reports, with automatic uploading to the patient's medical record.
